Mentalix (www.mentalix.com) announces that the company’s most recent Fingerprint Scan API Toolkit™ has achieved FBI IAFIS IQS certification for use with the Epson 11000XL document scanner, combined with the Mentalix ADF R3 high-volume automated document feeder. Systems integrators and developers use the Fingerprint Scan API Toolkit to add pre-certified fingerprint card scanning interfaces to their customized software products.

Mentalix’s Fed Submit Live Scan Fingerprint Systems Now Support JABS and CAS National Databases

Mentalix (www.mentalix.com) announces that the company's Fed Submit™ live scan and card scan fingerprint systems now support the Joint Automated Booking System (JABS) and Civilian Applicant System (CAS) national databases. This added functionality allows authorized Fed Submit users to conduct automated booking procedures with the U.S. Department of Justice's (DOJ) repository of arrest data in order to verify identity and arrest history when fingerprinting a suspect or checking an applicant's criminal background prior to employment.

Mentalix Launches Certified CardPrint Software for Printing Fingerprint Cards on a Lexmark MS810 Printer

Mentalix (www.mentalix.com) announces that the company's most recent CardPrint API Toolkit™ has achieved FBI IAFIS IQS certification for use with the Lexmark™ MS810 monochrome printer. The CardPrint API Toolkit is used by systems integrators and developers to add pre-certified fingerprint card printing interfaces to their customized software products. Mentalix also utilizes its CardPrint interface within the company’s Fed Submit live scan systems to enable law enforcement agencies to print fingerprint and palm print cards on the MS810 printer. When the MS810 printer is used in conjunction with the CardPrint software, the resulting cards are of sufficient quality for identification purposes.
